What people ask about job alerts.
- How often do job alerts go out?
- Each subscriber picks daily, weekly, twice a month or monthly, and an alert only goes out when there are new jobs that match. You can also cap how often the whole board sends. The cap only ever turns mail down, so someone who chose monthly stays on monthly. On Starter, alerts go out at most weekly, so someone who picked daily gets one email a week.
- What can subscribers choose?
- Job titles or keywords, categories, locations, job types and a salary range. They can also add their resume as a PDF for sharper matches. Leaving everything open gets them every new job on the board.
- Can I bring the email list I already have?
- Yes. Import it as a CSV. Imported people get one welcome email with a few current jobs, then a single reminder, and alerts start only once they respond. Anyone who never responds is not emailed again.
- Can I export my subscribers?
- Yes, as a CSV at any time. The export includes each person’s alert frequency and the titles, categories, locations, job types and salary they chose.
- What happens with unsubscribes and bounces?
- Every alert has a one-click unsubscribe and a link to manage preferences. Unsubscribes, bounced addresses and spam reports are left out of every send automatically, and people who stop opening are paused until they open again.
